:brain: AWE Grants Program – Application Guidelines

Welcome to the AWE World Builder Grants Program — designed to fund experiments, tools, and community initiatives that push the boundaries of Autonomous Worlds. These guidelines outline how to apply for funding, what to expect during the review process, and how decisions are made.

:warning: This is a living document and will be updated as the program evolves.

1. Application Process

  • :memo: Submission
    Applicants must submit a detailed proposal outlining their project’s objectives, milestones, requested budget, and how it contributes to the AWE ecosystem. Use this proposal template to structure your application.

  • :magnifying_glass_tilted_left: Review
    The AWE Grant Council, composed of five nominated contributors, will review proposals on a rolling basis. Reviews assess feasibility, alignment with AWE’s mission, and expected impact.

  • :speaking_head: Feedback
    Applicants will receive feedback within 2 weeks of submission. Proposals may be iterated upon based on Council recommendations.

  • :white_check_mark: Approval
    Approved proposals will be publicly announced in the forum. Funding is milestone-based, with a potential upfront portion released upon Council approval.
